Default 02 4wd...cv axle

Im workin on a 02 durango that makes a rubbing/ rust grinding sound near the front drivers side. I already replaced tie rods (inner and outter), sway bushings, upper ball joints, wheel bearings, and im currently replaing the lower ball joints. All of hese items have been replaced in the last month and a half. The sound just started two weeks ago and i replaced the sway bushings, all 4 tie rods, and upper ball joints. I know the cv axles are a common problem on these trucks but i wanna be more sure what im looking at while im changing the lower ball joints.

Changed out the lower ball joints and the sound remained...mostly when braking id hear the sound of a rusty spring lol or something around those lines. Ive heard this sound before and its definately a cv axle.

Brake light and abs light come on after some stops and i read the codes and it was along the lines of the left speed sensor looses signal after i brake. Im guessing the cv either wobbles or just doesnt all move together causing the sensor to get a bad reading.

What needs to be removed to get the axle out? Can i do it with just getting the tie rod outta the way? Without having to take the whole spindle off again im hoping.
