Creaky front suspension?

Creaky front suspension?
Howdy folks,
I realize simply describing the noises coming from my front suspension when slowly going over speedbumps and such as "creaky" is about as helpful as getting interior decorating advice from Hellen Keller, but I figured there may be some known wear issues in the front ends of these 1st Gen. Durangos.
I have a 2000 Durango R/t with 130,000. Has dark grey Mopar marked shocks (original?) which could be part of the issue. I'm also wondering if the track bar bushings or the upper/lower control arm bushings are the culprit.
It's a Texas truck, never seen salt, and the noise doesn't sound like old, tired, rusty sqeuaking metal, just a sort of tired groaning nose when going over bumps.
The rear leafs make no noise whatsoever.
Any insight into my vague and half-a$$ed description of the issue would be very much appreciated.
Best,
Heekma

I replaced the upper and a short time later the lower started making noise. So I ended up replacing both. Like I said its not something you have to do right now but it will need to be done. I went about 3 months before I found out what was causing the noise. If you want to find out how bad they are raise the front tires off the ground and grab the top and bottom of the tire. Try rocking the top and bottom of the tire in and out to see if its loose.
