Default 4-Lo problem 02Durango

Hey everyone, very new to the Dodge /V8/ 4x4 world. Just picked up a 2002 Dodge Durango R/T, has 213,000km. Alternator was rattling and making noise so I replaced that, and I just did that last week bc the truck wouldn't stay running on its own. Got it running and it sat for a few days and now it wont start like I have a dead batteryso I'm going.to.replace that its probably just a bad battery. Second problem I am having is when I switch to 4-Lo(electronic) it just flashes and wont shift. Any help would be greatly appreciated and my key fob was broken and when I used the power locks inside the Durango and when I use the key to unlock the alarm goes off everytime, I was reading on here about splicing the wire and running another wire to disable to the alarm but I wasn't sure if it was the black or green wire. I have full intensions on rebuilding the whole Durango this summer I'm just finishing up my Turbo build for my summer car.

Truck should be in neutral and not rolling.

to get 4lo you need to have the trans in nuetral and be stopped then shift and it should go.

try resetting the factory alarm for yourself, it should be as simple as locking all the door manually and closing them, then turn the key in the drivers door to lock, then unlock and it should reset the alarm (i think i have the procedure correct, you can search the forum for the detailed procedure)
