My Durango is in a parking lot for the night. Wife called me at work and said that the front tire is tilted bad and she is afraid to drive it home.

I am working and unable to retrieve it until morning. But I plan to use my car dolly and pickup to bring the D home for repairs. I have a friend that has borrowed my car dolly to drag his 97 Dodge pickup home, he said that the pickup was too wide for the dolly.

So my question. Does anybody know the front tire width, from outside to outside of the stock size tire and wheels? Or can you tell me is the Durango narrower than the pickup? I need to know if my dolly will work or not.

 

which pickup does your friend have? if he has a dakota its the same w/ as a D if he has a ram it is wider, by how much im not sure

 

Thanks for the help. His is the full size pickup. I did not think of the Dakota being the same size as the Durango. But now that you mention it makes sense.

I'm thinking/hoping that my dolly will work.
