Question Do I buy 2WD or 4Wd replacement parts for the D??

Hi everyone, There is probably a section that covers this question, but I didn't really have any luck finding it so I apologize in advance.

The question I have is, when buying replacement parts for the D, do I get the parts for 2WD, 4WD, or RWD? I figured since it's normally driven in 2WD then that's what I should be buying, but since since it has 4WD, should the replacement parts be for 4WD?

For example, I am going to buy new front control arms and they have been categorized into two, sometimes three diffrent groups with different pricing depending on what sites you are on. (2WD, 4WD, and some sites have RWD as well)

Sorry for being a noob.

If you have 4wd you need 4wd parts. If you only have 2wd you need 2wd/rwd parts.

Thanks Guy. I figured that's the logic but I wanted to make sure :-)
