Hi everyone, Fried the rear axle inner pinion bearing on my 2001 Durango, 4.7, 9.25 axle, 3.55 ratio, 12 bolt. Need to replace the ring and pinion gears because the bearing spun on the shaft and now the shaft is junk. What is a good brand ring and pinion to replace it with, that I won't be spending over 250 or 260 bucks? (I have a budget) Any input would be appreciated!!

Thank You!! I've read some pretty good reviews on Yukons. Just curious, did you do the work and set up yourself? I've done a pretty good amount of auto repair as a home garage mechanic, but I've never done a complete rear axle rebuild. I have dial indicators and torque wrenches, and a good amount of instruction online, so I think I can get it......I hope I can get it....lol
