I bought my dodge a week ago from a private owner,and this morning the engine light goes on,I read how to get a code and look it up,it says the evap monitor small leak...ok where do I find the leak,and yes I checked the gas cap.dont know much bout my dodge,but wanting to learn bad!!

 

When mine displayed that code, it was the Evap Canister Hose(s). I've replaced mine 2x's and have an extra set on standby for when/if it happens again. Under the truck, behind the driver's seat, is a black canister with horseshoe-shaped hoses. Check those and feel for cracks. RockAuto has them for cheap.
