Default More ABS Problems

So I broke down and took my 98 Durango SLT to the shop. After them replacing the Master cylinder 3 times ( other 2 where bad form the start) they are telling me it is my ABS Module and ABS Pump that have gone bad. Quoted me roughly $1600 for the two parts
So my questions are:
1. Can I get used? ( I was told I couldn't as they are programed to your VIN)
2. Is there anywhere else I can get these besides the dealership?
3. Did the mechanic miss something?
Run down of symptoms again,
No brake or ABS light on. Have brake pressure for 5 seconds then pedal drops to the floor. Can barely stop. When ignition off build up pressure and with force can make the pedal go to floor. Turn ignition on, pedal drops to floor.
Any thoughts, Suggestions, or just call it quits and sell the bugger.

Opps, sorry about that,
Anyways an update,,,,,,
So the module was bad, and I found a place that repaired it for $150 online. Now I have a working ABS Module, Master Cylinder and booster but still having minor brake problems. The mechanic was able to isolate the problem down to the ABS pump. My question now is Where can I get it repaired or a new one from? Would one from the wrecking yard work?
HELP!
