So, my front left door speaker blew. Do they HAVE to be Infinity or can they be another brand? I went to a sound install shop and they said I had to use infinity or rewire the system. I would rather put a pioneer system in it. Thoughts?

 

If its the stock head unit, you just have to find 2 ohm speakers. Dont have to be infinity.

 

I replaced my speakers and head unit with a pioneer and added a OEM amp to it.. sounds like they just want you to pay them to do something you dont have to do

 

Thanks, I replaced the head unit with a Pioneer. I thought they were blowing smoke, thought I would check with the experts.
