Default Rear axle spec questions

Well... I've done a little research, but would love to have someone confirm some stuff for me.

It looks like all Durangos came with a 6 on 4.5 bolt pattern for both the 8.25 & 9.25. Is that correct?

It also appears that the WMS-WMS (width from wheel mounting surface to wheel mounting surface is 63") ... correct?

I haven't found info on disk brakes .... can someone tell me if disk brakes were options? What years/axles?

Rear Disk brakes were not an option on 1st Gen. I inquired about all the options before I purchase mine.

LU:Rear disc brakes were indeed introduced in the 2003 model year. That was the last year for the gen 1's.

There are a few kits that have been made to convert, but they are very pricey and I have heard horror stories about at least one.

Unless you are building a monster truck, the rear drums will do ok with some good shoes and good pads/rotors up front.
