Default valet override button???

My son was playing in my truck the other day and set the alarm off and i was at work so my wife pulled the battery to get it to stop til i could get home. We dont have the keypad for it so ive been looking for the override button with no luck. Ive looked everywhere for the button and/or the gray and black wires that go to the button but cannot find it at all and its really starting to frustrate me. I tried to program the keypad i had from my old durango but not sure the batteries are good or if its cause the security light keeps flashing and you cant program it while its on or what. I know its supposed to be a black or silver button under the steering column but i looked for almost an hour and cant fricken find it. Does anyone know where it is or could anyone show me a pic of the button or the location or something. I would be grateful for any help at all. thanx

There's no valet button unless you have the Mopar evs add on system, and it could be out anywhere depending on the dealer. If its the stock alarm there are steps to reset it in the day section. You can only program a remote yourself if you have another working one, otherwise you have to go to the dealer or a locksmith.
