Heater Hoses ??
The hose from the core to the right side engine has 4 preformed bends. Has anyone just used cut to fit 5/8" heater hose for this? Results ok? Thanks.

I have used the cut to fit hose on other vehicles with the preformed bends in it with good results, never the D tho. I'll find out come fall as i have to replace my hose as well... i am thinking of finding a way to route both hoses on the left side..

I have on my late 1998 D 5.9L and its fine, just remember to place that corrugated protecting cover over any place that touches something else and could rub causing a rupture of the hose.
However!
Some of these trucks have a valve that takes coolant back to the heater in the rear, so if you have one of these don't cut it off. For that matter I don't know if you even can, but just be advised.
