Default Brake like issues... Help plz

Hey guys. Gotta weird issue. My wife's 03 Durango... We were stopped by a lady saying none of our brake lights are working. We stopped at autozone bought bulbs. Only one light was blown. Changed them all. Now only one bulb works?

Swapped out the brake switch, no change. All fuses are good too.

So we have no third brake bulb, or driver. Can anyone give me some advice? Thanks!

Sounds like rodents to me.

But to be safe, did you check your connections for corrosion or junk? Did you check in inside "track" of the power system on the back of the taillight?

How do you check the track? The bulb connections looked good, would the third taillight have the same effect? Or does it run off the driver side circuit? That would make sense it's not working too

My service manual (digital) is missing the wiring diagram.

But yeah it all has to tie in somewhere. Odd your pass side works. It's gotta be a ground or a wire connection somewhere

Yeah, bulbs are good, wiring looks good at the lights. Guess it time to bust out my meter and start checking grounds :-(

The contacts inside the socket can get hot and embed themselves into the plastic some and cause the bulb holder not to make contact.
