Default power window not working help

Have a 2001 Durango with power windows and rt front will not go up. I tried both switches and it makes a noise. I took the door panel off and pulled the glass up very easy. What should i do? thanks

Replace the window regulator with motor. Rockauto has them or NAPA. I have changed them on mine. Not that hard to do.
They have a cable that runs over plastic parts and the plastic breaks.

Correcto. Mine broke last year on the driver side front. I had the dealer fix mine. $260 I think.. Wanted near $600 to replace both back windows. I'm past the days of fixing stuff myself unless it's super easy (like a sensor on the motor).

My back windows are held up by wood

replacing the windows assembly with regulator is a very easy diy project.

Your first time may take about an hour. And after gaining some experience, it should not take you more than 15-20 minutes to do. I am on my third driver side assembly and hope this one last a few years longer than the previous two.

The whole assembly will run you around $50-$80 bucks.

I put the part on. The motor bolts are in different place, the top one will not even work, the bottom is good the other bottom(right side looking at it) is off some. The top bolt on the left of the regulator i did not use. The top bolts are off i could not get it to work. Also the speaker plugs are different on these yrs. The window works but is a little slow, hope it is bc has not been used lately
