Ok so for the past 4 days my friend and I spent rebuilding my engine. This isn't the 1st time I rebuilt an engine. Well we didn't rebuild it entirely. We replaced the top end. I got a set of iron ram heads. And a whole new gasket kit. also replaced the timing chain and gears.
So we spent all weekend making sure that we torqued everything to specs and making sure that we put everything back where it belonged. We changed the tranny fluid and replaced the filter and changed the oil and topped off the coolant. So we get it all wrapped up and started it and took it for a test ride.
Well its very sluggish very. And the exhaust is whistle! And you can't really hear the rumble of it either any more. At an idle its quite quiet.
So we thought we may have screwed up the torque on the rocker arms. So we pulled the covers and retorqued them all. And it didn't do any thing. I checked the fluid levels. Everything!
I'm baffeled! And I need help!
