you were right Old_School it was the CPS, but now im having another problem it feels loss of power when i put i in d it won't move on its own i have to press the gas pedal a little harder. also it won't shift like if its in a higher gear?
Did you reset the PCM when you put in the new CPS?
The not shifting could be a bad speed sensor on the tail on the trans as well if it was not already replaced when you did the swap. As far as not moving i would start with the simple basics.. Make sure the fluid is at the proper level, checked when warm, shifted through all the ranges, and in Neutral. If that looks ok then it could be that the bands are slipping and need adjusted. That could also be causing the sifting issues as well.
The bad part about a band adjustment is in order to do the rear band you have to drop the pan. I would try those things and see if it corrects the issue. If that does not do it them i am afraid to say but, i would be looking at a overhaul or another swap as the slipping could be many, many different issues.
ok finally was able to fix it today the cause was the automatic transmission connector had to splice in a new one it works great shifts smoothly all gears
