Opti coat runs almost $70, I did some looking and people are using spar varnish diluted with mineral spirits 1:1 with good results.
Seems like an awful lot of screwing around and cost when new aftermarket replacements are around $50 ea.

I used the turtle wax brand on my ram and while it cleaned the outside lens, it was mostly yellow from the inside.

If you don't mind re polishing the lenses a few times a year go fer it, but Personally I wish someone would have told me not to waste the money polishing my headlights.
I used the "3M" brand on my 99 Alero when I had it and the lens never re-fogged. Went 2 years with no oxidation after using the kit... Those headlight lens' are actually sitting outside still looking brand new aside from dust. I stand by the "3M" headlight restore kit!
