Default Any ideas on minor white smoke?

Hey all, so i got a 2000 D with 4.7l just hit 240,000km. Noticing when im at a stop and kinda get on it a little it shoots a little puff of white smoke. Also coughs out a puff on startup or if parked and rev to 3000rpm quick. I'm not loosing coolant and did a compression test a few weeks ago and all cylinders checked out. I notice im using more gas and running 20l/100km .
Typically she burns a quart a month depending how i wine and dine her and has your usual valve guide/lash adjuster tick, tock w.e for couple seconds on start up.
I have also recently replaced transmission with used one from wreckers and a new magnaflow catalytic converter(read my previous threads to learn a bout how it broke/problem). Can the white smoke just be from running the engine running rich and the new CAT not configured?

Also kinda off topic but noticing my transmission fluid kinda burnt..Could my rad be somewhat pooched and not properly cooling my fluid/engine and reading on the temp guage fine? ( 1/4- 1/2 way up guage)

Thanks all in advance, and treat her right shell treat you right!

kk thats what i was thinking. I also notice sometimes it kinda lacks a little power of the hop and some starts its fine. I have checked fuel psi and it was also good so im thinking m,abey my injectors and going kookoo a little and thats why im using more gas and power and possible condensation problem. oil is clean in cap tho no moisture problem/slime

Yeah I too have the white smoke and blue smoke issue starting to show on my Durango. I don't ever drive it.. I'm on month three and just hit 80 miles! But after my long road trip I parked my Fusion and drive the Durango daily..

Anywho the truck had lost coolant somehow..I think the prior dealer removed coolant and caused it to overheat. New dealer did a pressure test on the cooling system and said all came back positive. So I'm not sure on the issue. If there is a leak, it's no where a pressure test can find it. And no drips on my driveway (white concrete).
