Alright I picked up this 99 Durango not knowing much about it. Got it for next to nothing. Guy guaranteed tranny was good and was original reason i bought it. Didn't have front fenders so I couldn't test drive but fluid looked great. Anyway, I have fenders on now and tried driving it. The 1-2 shift more often than not will rev till 3000 rpm and then shift hard. also revs high going into the 2-3 shift but over drive shift is solid. Tried the tv cable adjustment with no despair. Fluid is full and in good shape. I've had it shift perfect a few times. Need some help on this one. If it matters the gear shift shows neutral when really in drive. And if I bring the gearshift to 1st and switch to 2nd it shifts right into second. Still a little harsh
