I'd personally stay away from all of those remote start things, they just cause more electrical problems than they're worth.

I love them. I'm a fan of audiovox as they have a system that ties into using the factory key fob (press: lock/unlock/lock and vehicle starts).

However given the fact the key fobs on the durangos suck royal *** ****.. Best you get a system that replaces the OEM key fob.

Personally all my vehicles are loaded so I make use of the aux feature and heated seats. Nothing more pleasant than walking out to a warm car with warm seats on a crisp December morning.

Best to have pro install.

I had the Viper 5301 with the 2-way (feedback to fob) installed on my '02 Durango at BBuy. This was remote start with security. Worked just wonderful for the four years I had it (Durango got totaled in downtown Chi).
New (to me) truck is an '05 Ram 1500. Just had the 5204V (newer version but same) installed at the same place. So far, so good.

I've got a dealer installed astro-start. My uncle had it done way back when he purchased it new and we haven't had any issues. Stay away from cheap crap and have a reputable installer do it. I had a friend who used to do audio and car starters they are a pain to do.
