Unhappy Engine rumble

A few months ago, my D started experiencing a rumbling/vibration from the engine at highway speeds, and the problem has gotten a bit worse in the past week.

When the problem first arose, I got a single "Cylinder 1 misfire" code. But I reset the computer and it hasn't thrown a code since (3 months or more).

The problem is most noticeable when I have the accelerator just slightly depressed in order to maintain a speed of 50-55 MPH. If I let my foot off the accelerator, the rumbling stops immediately and until I press it again.

The issue has not (so it seems) affected performance. It is sometimes noticeable when accelerating slowly, and hardly noticeable when I "punch it" (or quickly accelerate) from a stop.

FWIW, I poured a can of Seafoam in the gas tank yesterday and drove it for a while with no difference in the rumble.

Hoping someone here can help me narrow down the possibilities as I cannot afford to take it to a garage for them to "guess" at the problem (I am fully capable of doing that myself! )

I'd change the plugs. All 8 of them. Champion Copper Plugs.

Could be drive shaft u-joints or front half shafts if you have AWD. They transmit vibrations everywhere and the amount is usually related to the power applied.
