Did you try a stethoscope to try to locate where the knock originates from?
What is your oil pressure when cold and hot? (use a real gauge)
When you had the oil pan off did you........
find any metal particles in the bottom of the pan?
pull any rod caps off to inspect the bearings?

Check your coolant level also. 2 weeks ago, my top radiator hose came apart. Bought a new one from Dodge, replaced and filled. It would start pinging upon acceleration. One day, I heard a noise like something hit the bottom of the truck while driving. I think it was the system burping itself, because the pinging stopped after that. I heard you don't want to overfill these trucks with any of their fluids. Reservoir also.

thank you guys. i took a screwdriver ans listen to the bottom of the motor. there was a little knocking sound on both sides.now the top of the motor, the driver side there was a little sound. the passenger side the sound was very loud.i think that one of the lifters locks up under presser but only when the truck starts to warm up.at idle there is no sound at all.i don't want to replace the motor.thigs are very tight right now.

You might try the Seafoam trick. Check some of the reviews on Amazon.com. Then possibly some Lucas oil treatment after.
