I've noticed that at highway speeds and only on left hand bends in the road, I hear a humming sound coming from the front right. Is this an indication that the hub needs replacement? Are there any checks/inspections that I can do to see if the hub is bad? This is on a 2000 Durango SLT 2WD 5.9L.

 

Try moven tire back and forth with hub cap off and truck up in the air and spine tire it can also be the caliper sticking

 

most likely your wheel bearing. I replace both of mine at the same time now... got tired of changing one out, then a couple months later having to change the other out.
