Question ABS light on dash board, No ABS on wheels

so I bought a 2001 Durango 4.7L and the ABS light is on, however when I check both wheels, there are no ABS cables/wires at all (neither broken, peel or damage) . Only the brake hose, what does this mean??? even if the hub was change and put a new one without ABS, how can I be sure the car is suppose to be ABS ready???

Rear wheel only abs was standard with 4 wheel abs optional.

The rear wheel ABS sensor is inside the differential, not at each wheel. The tone ring is sandwiched between the ring gear and it's mounting flange on the carrier. You should see one plug/socket on the main diff housing.

I second this one. Though I have no experience I have read this before somewhere (and I too thought it was odd!)
