Default Oil analysis results

Got my oil analysis report back from Blackstone labs. Looks like everything's doing well inside the engine. I guess the STP oil treatment increases the viscosity from being a 30 weight (which is what the oil was) to a 40 weight which is what the oil tested at.

Nice.
The amount of Zinc and Phosphorous in oils these days is way too low. They reduce the amounts for emissions reasons(save life of catalytic components)
The 852 of Zinc isn't exactly helping the longevity of your engine. Seems like it's half what it should be but then again, your at the 4kmi mark.
New laws have limited amount of Zinc that manufacturers can put in the oil. I always add Lucas Zinc additive with every oil change. 1/4bottle with the Hemi. Brings it up to what oils ised to be in the 90's. Up around 2k

BTW, What's the deal with the quote in your sig? Sort of inapropriate...

I always add a bottle of the STP oil treatment in with the oil. It's supposed to have zinc and a couple other things in it, so I'd imagine the zinc levels would be even lower without it.

I was just curious about it really, and am pleased at the results that came back.
