Can i interchange motor n parts to my 98 durango from a 2001

Only if same motor/parts.

Minor changes include the PCM and maybe an added sensor here and there..

Whatever changes in 3 years wont be drastic. I assume you speak of the 5.2.

The only common motor for those years would be the 5.9. The motor itself should be identical, but some wiring might be different. As long as you reuse all your existing electronics it should work.

I have a 1998 durango 5.2. 318 and am tryin to replace engine. I was wondring if it will match up. If not what will need to be changed?

Well, the 5.9 and 5.2 are pretty much identical for the most part, so you should be able to swap a 2001's 5.9 into your 98 (you'll want the transmission too).
