When I replaced my heater core a while back, i cleaned the hell out of the housing or so i thought. With this bad winter i noticed i could smell antifreeze with the heater on. Does anyone have a way of cleaning the heater box without pulling it back out of the truck?

Nope, but if you drop a piece of Limburger down the heater vent you will hardly notice the antifreeze smell.

I sprayed some new car scent on my cowl with the fan on hi so it would suck through the system. It helped after I changed my core. Just make sure its not corrosive

How would you test the core without pulling the dash out?
