Talking about the head lights I have been thinking about getting HID put in. or can I do that easily I haven't been able to find a DYI for HID for GEN1 ha ha ha I just wanted to put those acronyms in. any suggestions I have been quoted $80 installed for HID lamps installed out the door from a guy with no shop or 130 from a guy with a shop so if there is such a price change I want to know if I could do it myself and save moar!!

You don't want to just throw hids in. They can actually give you a worse beam sometimes and are going to glare and blind other drivers. Either get the clear lens housings ($80 on eBay) and some better halogen bulbs, or retrofit in some hid projectors.

+1 Clear lens with even a OEM bulb make one hell of a difference over the OEM housings.
