Default Ground Wire # 56043131AB

This # was superseded by part # 56043131AC.

I noticed something hanging down along the passenger side, so I checked it out and it broke/sheared about 2 feet from the mounting screw on the frame. I just ordered it but it won't be here until next week sometime. The one under the hood seems to still be intact. Does anyone know where it connects to, from the mounting screw on the frame?

For about the past 3 or 4 months, I've been hearing a 'whirring' noise while I drive. I have the radio off, but it sounds almost like a bass/amp system setup. Saw this link and am HOPING that when I install the ground wire, it'll take care of that noise! http://www.moparpartsoverstock.com/p...6043131AC.html

Thoughts?

Got the call to pick up the ground wire. Just have to find out where the other end connects to and we'll see about that noise.

It's the ground for the exhaust, from what I've read. Some say it's not needed. Oh well, at least it was only $6.50! LOL
