Default Re-Program Alarm Keyfob

Hello All,

I have a 2001 Dodge Durango. I recently had to change out the battery but once I did the alarm stopped working. I took the Keyfob and had it tested to make sure it still worked. I only have one.

I found this article: Programming new Key fobs
https://dodgeforum.com/forum/2715516-post6.html

This doesn't help me since I just have one. Do I need to take the SUV to a Dodge dealer to have it re synced?

Thank you!
David

Usually changing the battery does not do that but, i would call around to local locksmiths and see if they do it. When i went to have mine done our local dealer wanted $75 to do it and i the locksmith charge me $15.

I appreciate the help! Will check around for local shops to see if they can get it re-programmed.

Thank you!

Check Autozone too. I saw a sign that they do it.

Seeing the mentality of the people at AutoZone when i was in Oklahoma about 2 months ago, I would say that it can't end very well.......
