Hello, new guy here, I have a issue with my shift linkage. When I shift from park to drive the indicator says I'm in 2nd. It is the digital indication so there is no indicator cable to adjust. Any ideas? Its a 2001 Durango with the 5.9L Mag. Also my back-up lights are on when in park and off in reverse???

 

possible range selector switch, it's what tells everything what position the shifter is in. Has any work been done recently?

 

Not real recently, had some work done awhile back but I can still drive it like this so I didn't worry about it too much. When I took it in they said my TPMS sensor was bad but nothing changed after they "replaced it"
