I did the Seafoam cleaning yesterday, took all of 20 minutes... and I must say it did just what it said. Smoother idle, better throttle response, and noticeable increase in my 0-60. Cost me all of $10... the Firestone shop wanted $70 for the same service. 1/2 bottle in gas tank, 1/2 into the brake vacuum line.... just pour as slowly as you can. Make sure the neighbors know that the smoke is intentional and that your house is not burning down. I rigged up a funnel and some 3/8 fuel hose to connect straight to the intake instead of risking getting the Seafoam in my brake booster.

 

I have used seafoam for years to clean up fuel systems from mowers,boats, motorcycles. I have only used itin the gas never into the intake. I have no idea good or not for the direct cleaning but letting it go through your gas tank has served me well. Love the stuff.
