Default Brake expert needed for 2000 Durango Sport

I could use a little expert advise on a brake issue with my 2000 Durango 4.7L 4WD with All wheel anti locking brakes described to the best of my ability.
New calipers
New pads
Bled all brakes, no air in lines
It has been 1000 miles since doing a brake job.
Recently the vehicle shifts to right while applying brakes for the first time, then goes away. The brakes were inspected by a mechanic and bled during vehicle annual inspection and nothing found.
Also, all new front brake components still look new with equal brake pad engagement; no drag
What I did find that during a hard brake pedal above 25 MPH, the right caliper locked the wheel for an 8 inch tire skid then released into the anti lock mode, several times.
Weird!
Any suggestions, please.

Thank you,

Leebar

As far as I know the anti lock breaks on our durango's need to be bled with a drb scan tool to do it correctly if air has gotten to the anti lock module. By the sound of your description of replacing the calipers that would have happened. You may have to use a dealer as the drb tool is several thousand dollars so most small shops do not have the necessary tool to do the job. I also would not call myself a brake expert and cant say if the symptoms you are experiencing are a result of improper bleeding. I would also check the wheel speed sensor for the wheel that is locking up, it should be mounted on the spindle assembly.

Thank you for your response which sounds like good advice. My manual on 2000 Durango mentions the DRB tool for the ALBS and never used on before. As you mentioned, it would be wise for me to have an expert perform this bleeding operation of the ALBS. I will let you know what is found.

Check your brake hoses if old they can pinch when you release you brake peddle not letting the pistons retract, and hang up you brakes. just brainstorimg is all.

Thank you for your replies which is all sound advise. I took my Durango into the dealer for brake line bleeding to include the DRB scan tool with hope I can get sight of the problem. The results will be shared.
