P0622 means there is a open or shorted condition found in the generator field control circuit. With a bad battery temp sensor, that is part of the generator field control circuit i would say that should clear up with the new sensor. If not then the next step would be to break out the wire diagrams and start tracing wires looking for loose or broken ones.
Ok so I replaced the battery temp sensor. Got a jump start and got it to start. Once my friend pulled the jumper cables off it immediately struggled to stay running, dashboard went dead, and motor shut off. Once it completely died the dash board returned to normal. It not throwing any codes I think because it wont stay runnimg long enough. Tryed to jump it again this time I reved the engine as my friend removed the jumper cables. I got it to idle for a couple minutes but it did the same as before. Starting to think I may have damaged the alternator/battery not having that sensor working. Will have both tested tomorrow by removing them and take to the parts store

Yeah, the computer won't function properly if it isn't getting enough power, which can make it not idle properly. Have the battery and the alternator checked out, and it won't hurt to clean the battery terminals with a wire brush while you're at it.

Update: Took the battery and alternator in to get tested alternator tested out fine. Battery was too dead for them to do a test. O'Reillys charged the battery and it test out fine as well. I did get a new serpentine belt because I notice that the one that was on my Durango. Put back in the alternator and battery hooked everything back up and now everything is fine. No codes no hesitations. Im going to monitor the voltage for the next couple days to see if I'm getting any drain. Also might have the alternator and battery retested while its attached to the Durango.

Well, you found the answer before i seen the issue but after reading it i was gonna say the battery is too dead and to put a battery charger on it for awhile.... anyways glad its fixed.

Well I thought it was fixed. Driving home, voltage gauge dropped to zero started popping the alternator codes again. Took it to autozone had them check the alternator and battery in the Durango. Battery was fine alternator failed this time. Would of bought tge alternator but the guy was being kind of a dick. So I went to oreillys again with the alternator, they tested it again and it shut their tester down four times! So I'm assuming the alternator is fried so I got a new and put it in tonight. Crossing my fingers that this is it.
