Ok so aside from all the other problems, got them all fixed up, only thing now is the tranny is slipping in first and slams hard into reverse. It was slamming hard into Drive, but I put some Lucas Trans Fix, not the whole bottle yet cuz didn't want to overfill. That did help when shifting into drive. I know it is getting near time to do a rebuild, hopefully by then this will be a project. My actual question is, is there a 6 speed od auto that might fit? Otherwise I'll learn to rebuild the 44re.
