Default Are RT & SLT/SLT+ tires and rims interchangeable?

Hello fellow Durangonians,

I am curious about switching rims and tires on a 2003 Dodge Durango. So below I have a few questions and if you can enlighten me I'd appreciate it:

1 - Is it possible to put the non-chrome RT rims on a 2003 Dodge Durango SLT/SLT+? Would I need to switch tires to do this?

2 - Is it possible to put 2003 SLT/SLT+ rims on a 2003 Dodge Durango RT? And do I need to switch tires to do this?

Additional info as required would be appreciated.

Bolt patterns are all the same, so the wheels are all interchangeable. 98-00 SLT wheels are 15", 01-03 SLT wheels are 16", 00-03 R/T wheels are 17", so the tires will obviously only work on the same size wheel.

By "wheels" you mean rims?

You can use this "tire calculator" to see if your speedometer will be off any when you switch wheels/tires ---> http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/tirecalc.php

The sizes are on the sidewall of the tires.

No sport, You mean Wheels, not Rims.

Definition: "The rim is the outer edge of a wheel, holding the tire. It makes up the outer circular design of the wheel on which the inside edge of the tire is mounted on vehicles such as automobiles." The mostly urban use of the term rim to mean the entire wheel was instigated by the lesser educated portion of society.
