Re: Click Once and Power cutoff until PCM is reset
I have 2002 Dodge Durango 2WD 5.9 Engine. Going out, turned the ignition switch to crank it up, it clicked once and the power cut off. I checked the battery terminals and clean the corrosion. I checked all wires and fuses and they seem to be okay. I proceeded to taking out the starter and test it, voltage reading was okay(12.45) and it spins good. I mounted it back and nothing change. I am suspecting PCM but has not found any article that is related to this symptom. One click and power cut off. Vehicle won't turn on until i remove the battery terminal and install it back, then it will turn on. And this is the only way i got car to turn on so i can lock it with remote. I have viber anti-theft installed on it, which disable the fuel pump not the power. Please I need help with this problem. My battery reading is 12.45Volt which seem to be okay. However, the wire from the terminal to my inside fues box reads 0.1v instead of 0.2v i don't know if that contributed to this problem. Thanks.
