Those pesky cow's are a nuisance. I suggest sending them to slaughter and having a medium rare steak. 
1. If your talking about the front right cowl then that's a different story. It's pretty straight forward, remove hardware and access cowl.
2. There are some screws you remove them to access the plug, then replace.
More information is available in the manual in the DIY section at the top of the section however judging from your vehicle in your description you are posting in the wrong section, this is 1998-2003 section.
