If anyone is looking into a DIY heater core replacement and has questions you can contact me at darwin1966@yahoo.com. I just did my Durango and could have used some advice and direction.

Is this a job for a novice? It bypassed mine at the start of summer in Boston since I was moving to ATL and now I need to get it done. Let me know thanks!

Hey I am sorry I did not see this sooner. If you are still working this issue I would just have to ask what you mean by novice. If you want to spend a week or so saving some money you can do this if you have some instruction. I did it in my back yard but I did have the air conditioning evac done at work. Most of it is paying attention to where screws go and what to take apart.
