Default '00 Durango Sport / Trans Shift Issue 4 x 4 / 4.7

Afternoon to all.
My wife is extremely pleased I was driving her Durango when the transmission acted up. SO now I have the task of locating and fixing the trans problem and hopefully with your assistance. First, let me provide a little background data; // Oil and filters changed 10K miles ago, Vehicle has 198K and was bought new, Installed new speed sensor about 5K miles ago.
Current problem is transmission PARTIALLY shifted into second gear without being able to increase speed of travel. I let off the accelerator pedal and could feel the trans shift into gear. Then I was able to drive normally. This has happened maybe 10 times over a year according to my wife and a first for me. No trouble codes were displayed. Has this problem happened to anyone else? Does anyone have any ideas on what the problem is and what will fix the problem?
Thank you in advance for your information.
