Durango cold air intake issues
Hello,
I just bought a 98 durango with the 318. I recently bought a cold air intake off of ebay. It is a copy of the aem brute force intake system. Anyway...the plastic throttle body cover that came with the intake doesn't fit great against the throttle body. How big of an issue is this? Will much air leak out? When I turn the throttle while under the hood, the only air (sucking) sound I hear is coming from the air filter...also, I can't feel any air getting suckup up around the intake cover. Do you think I need to worry about this or leave it? I'm thinking of trying to use the stock intake cover with the rest of the setup I bought. The issue that comes up with that is the the stock intake cover is 3" and the pipe that came with the ebay intake system is 4".

I didn't use the throttle body spacer because the bolts weren't the right threads…this may be why the cover isn't fitting correctly.
