i have a leak via a broken hose the size of a coffee stirrer ,from what ive found its called a speed control vacuum hose,i will try to attach a photo

now i know a vacuum leak of any sort is bad but im not sure the severity of this one and what it can cause? i know it goes into the cabin and across to the brake booster and from there to the engine, is there a way to patch this up? or what other name does it go by at autozone,napa etc? i cant seem to find it on there sites

 

Get a piece of rubber hose that will push on snug and cut the plastic hose at the break and push both ends into the piece of rubber hose.
