Default 4wd moan and clicking

Hey guys,

I have an '02 Durango and when I put it in 4wd and go above 35 MPH I have a low pitch moan and if I turn hard I can hear a clicking coming from the front end. Can someone help me figure out what the issue may be? From what I've read, the clicking is probably a CV shaft, but it only does it in 4wd, so I'm not entirely sure that is the issue. I have also seen in my searches, the prop shaft may be causing the moan, but from what I was reading, most people were getting a high pitch moan. Any input would be grateful on how to troubleshoot/fix these issues. Thanks in advance!

What kind of surface are you driving on? If you're in 4wd lock on hard pavement you're going to bind up the driveline and break something.

This has been with the latest round of snow we've got here in CO. The roads have been snow packed with slush covering it.

See if it does it on wet grass or some other non paved surface. I'd still think clicking is the CVs. While they are spinning when in 2wd they're not under load trying to drive the vehicle like they are in 4wd.
