Default to lean to rich!!

hey dodge heads I recently bought wife low mileage 99 durango 5.2 but been headache from start i went to school for 3 yrs for auto tech and worked 6 years at 3 different private garages and i must say this one has me stumped i no longer work in the field and the guy i trust most is at a loss short story is getting lean code but car is running so rich fowling out clean oil in about 4 to 5 days of driving i have replaced all tune up stuff fuel rail & inj 02 sensors and more any ideas please i'm ears open for dodge tech

What kind of o2 sensors did you use? I've heard a lot of people say that most aftermarket ones don't work well (expecially bosch), that you need oem ones (made by denso I believe).

i think he used bosch 02 other small fact i left out was the reason fuel rail was replaced to begin with is there was a small fire ontop of manifold but all damage looks superficial

Those Bosch o2 sensors could certainly be a problem. Precat sensor sends data to the computer to adjust mixture, postcat sensor just monitors.

i know something is telling computer car is running lean but when i unplug pre 02 car continues to run ****ty you would think if its the 02 there would be difference on computer

It should run based on pre-programmed parameters just like it does until the sensors warm up on a cold start.
