going to look today to buy 2001 dur. truck is clean but they said shift cable broke. that doesent seem to hard but my ? is what yrs are the same, cable wise, and any tips thanx again ,pine. ps can I drive it home if I get it?

 

Depends if the cable itself broke or just where it attaches broke. You might be able to fix it if it's the latter. As far as replacement you'll probably need one from the same transmission. Junkyard would probably be the best place for that.
