Im need to know some specs about the stock stereo system in a 99 durango. What is it rated at, ect? Im interested in replacing the speakers but Im not sure if Ill need to also install an amp with the, so what is the stock system rated at?

 

Probably around 25 watts per channel. If you are interested in adding amps and such, I would recommend going with an aftermarket stereo. Also- depending on what trim level you have, your truck may already come with an amp for your mids and highs. Check it out before tampering with it. Does it have the Infiniti setup?
