My Durango overheated 3 times first time I had a hose spilt ..second time it overheated waited about 30 mins it was half way mark but once I drove it it heated up again . Waited another 30 mins had to have it towed . Now it sounds like this car on YouTube can anyone help me to what to check first if so is it worth fixing .

So I had this problem with my Durango I had no reverse or forward . My mechanic checked everything . So his last checked he took pan off and out came the oil filter and the trains filter was plugged up... I took it to a reputeable transmission shop they told me they would have to drop the transmission I don't trust these high price shops ..
