I've got a 4.7 in my truck and i drove it for about 20 minutes the other day then it died on me. After about 20 minutes of fooling with it, it started and barely had enough power to get it across the street to autozone. It has a bit of a knocking or tapping sound, cant tell if its coming from the bottom end, valve train, or just injectors. I pulled the dipstick and and it had gas in the oil. The autozone scanner said it had no comms with the #2 injector, I replaced the injector and the plug then I then trailered it home.

I changed the oil in it and it's still making a noise and running poorly. I've heard many different possibilities, the plug looks clean like it's not firing in the cylinder at all. It's got spark though. Any ideas?

 

Had an injector that was staying open. Bad ground on the ecu, grounded it, reset the computer with a battery disconnect and problem solved, no more gas in the oil.
