Default Beyond frustrated! 2weeks of guessing!

Can someone please give me some help I am getting desperate, and the guys at the scrap yard I work for are ready to scrap my rango! I have tried everything with the battery, looked for any bad wires, checked and un-plugged and re-plugged all sensors. I checked connections to PCM. I tried to hook it to a scanner but the Auto Shut Down relay keeps relaying (cycling). What that means is the relay is turning everything off and then back on, just like you are sitting in the seat turning the key on and off. I have access now to a 2000 Durango for parts and a 2002 Durango for parts. I am scared to try the PCM cause of the motor difference. Any help at all would be awesome!!

Pretty sure only the 98 and 99 PCMs are interchangeable.

So do I try finding a PCM? or is something else going on? This all happened in one day no warning or funky problems before. I drove it to work, then home for lunch, then back to work with everything running fine. Went to start it after work and it cranked normal and the thud hydroy-lock. Thank you for letting me know about the year of the PCM, I do know they went ahead and started using the 4.7 (which I must say we get a lot of).

Have you tried a new auto shut down relay?

I have tried changing the relays from that entire block. I have a 2000 and a 2002 for parts for now. I can use any part I need from either (well except the fuel pump from the 2000). So changing the relay just changes the sound from buzzing to clicking. I am so frustrated because I know it is something stupid and simple.
