Smile Road Trip!

Road tripping from San Diego California to Groton Connecticut! Anyways, What would you guys suggest for maintenance on a 01 Durango 5.9 SLT? I plan on replacing tires and Transmission fluid. Oil change right before and after the trip. Anything else you guys can think of?

Coolant flush. Plugs, wires, cap & rotor, coil, belt, etc. Rad hoses if they're old

We really have no idea. All the things that ThatGuy suggested are really regular maint things. It's 14 yrs old and we don't know how well it's been kept up. It's also hard to predict which misc part will decide to fail from old age at what point.

I keep up with all the regular stuff, but my 'perfectly maintained' '01 decided to develop a leak in the electric aux heater fluid pump, which pissed antifreeze and required replacement. I wouldn't hesitate to just check the tires and fluids and head east, but You never know which other 14 yr old part might decide it wants to be new too.
